After two successful seasons of filming in Australia, Love on the Spectrum moved to the U.S. to help several adults with autism find romance. Throughout the episodes, each cast member navigates dating with the help of autism expert Jennifer Cook, who is also on the spectrum.
Although Love on the Spectrum US is only in its first season, some Netflix viewers can't get enough of the endearing cast and want to know more of their story. Fortunately for fans, many of them are active on social media.
David and Abbey in 'Love on the Spectrum US'
Abbey is quite active on Instagram and TikTok and goes by the handle @hatsbyabbey. Her social media content includes engaging in her many passions, from "reciting High School Musical lyrics" (as she notes in her IG bio) to spending time outdoors with her dog, Clementine.
Abbey, who reached out to David on the show (and it's unclear if David has Instagram), also agrees to be on the spectrum and talks about "life with autism" on her platform and hashtag #actuallyautistic. In addition, the Los Angeles-based influencer likes to post herself at the bar in a cheetah print outfit.
Kaelynn Partlow
Kaelynn enjoys sharing posts on various topics on her Instagram account, @kaelynnvp. The Greenville, North Carolina native often updates her followers when she gets a haircut, spends time with family and friends or enters her dog, Finnegan, in a competition. Most recently, Kaelynn shared a bouquet of flowers she received from a follower after her Love on the Spectrum debut.
Dani Bowman
Dani frequently talks about her life and her career as an award-winning cheerleader on her Instagram page, @danibowman1. Dani's bio also links to her business, Danimation, which offers "creative autism-positive animation workshops" through Zoom. The rising star balances her business and various projects with the pursuit of her PhD.
Although Dani had already had much success prior to Love on the Spectrum, she shared with her followers how the new Netflix attention affected her social media presence.
"Today is day two of the #loveonthespectrumus launch," Dani wrote below a post about the cast. "So far, it's been an amazing journey! So many new followers, love requests and some nudity, haha! I wonder if that really works for those creeps ewwww! Thanks for everyone's support, and welcome to all my new followers.
My apologies if I don't respond to you - it's just impossible to keep up! But I'm seeing and reading as many of your posts as I can. love you all! thanks again! hugs and kisses! @netflix #autism."
Not all the cast members of 'Love on the Spectrum US' are on Instagram
So far, Abbey, Kaelynn and Dani are the only cast members with existing Instagram accounts.
According to Esquire, James and Stephen are not active on social media. During his appearance, Stephen admitted that technology is not his thing and that his assistant had to help him set up a dating account. James is also a fan of the Renaissance era, so he might not participate in Instagram or other platforms.
Subodh Garg, who stated in the Love on the Spectrum US trailer that he hadn't been on a date in "33 years," also doesn't have an Instagram account. However, Subodh is on Facebook, where he posts his passions for "swimming, snorkeling, traveling the world and money management."
Subodh also shared that he's been in an "open relationship" since 2017, but didn't mention it when he pursued Rachel Osterbach on the show. (Rachel's Instagram appears to be @rachelosterbach, but it looks like she's not very active there).
