BARTONVILLE (Heart of Illinois ABC) -- It was all eyes on the Peoria Motorcycle Club Saturday as the Peoria T-T races made its comeback.
After being canceled last year due to the pandemic, fans and bikers alike were ecstatic to be back at the track.
Another big comeback this year was the return of flat track racer Henry Wiles.
Wiles missed the 20-19 race because of a broken leg, but he's back and he said he's hungry.
Having won 14 consecutive races on the track, he said he goal was to get win number 15.
"They want to win this race specifically because I've done such a good job of winning it," Wiles said. "It's interesting that this show has always been a constant for me as my life has evolved. I'm definitely looking forward to see how today turns out. Hope to get that win."
Wiles would go on to win the semi-final race, continuing his winning streak.
