“Love Is Blind” is back just in time for Valentine’s Day — but will the experiment work the second time around?
The hit Netflix series returns Feb. 11 with an all-new group of single hopefuls from Chicago who will attempt to find love in the pods and get engaged sight unseen.
“I haven’t found someone that appreciates my love as much as I appreciate theirs. That’s why I’m here,” contestant Salvador Perez, an executive assistant, explains in the new trailer that dropped Wednesday.
Following the same experiment as Season 1, the couples who get engaged in the pods will then test their relationships in the real world by vacationing together, visiting each other’s homes and meeting family and friends.
Judging from the trailer, it appears drama and compatibility issues will take center stage as the couples navigate their post-pod relationships.
“You guys think you’re compatible? That is comical,” freelance hairstylist Shaina Hurley says in the trailer, later adding, “I’m hoping for the best, but will we combust?”
“I’m not feeling the animalistic attraction I want to feel,” admits Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee, a veterinarian and DJ.
The 10-part series — hosted by real-life couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey — will once again try to prove if love is, in fact, blind as the pairs connect physically, prepare for their wedding day and ultimately decide whether they’ll say “I do” at the altar.
The first five episodes drop Feb. 11 on Netflix, with episodes six through nine rolling out on Feb. 18 and the finale airing Feb. 25.
