Casey Bishop was eliminated during Sunday night’s episode of “American Idol” after performing her new single “Love Me, Leave Me.”
The 16-year-old was the only one eliminated during the episode after Caleb Kennedy left the show after a video was circulated of him sitting next to someone wearing what appears to be a Ku Klux Klan hood.
Each of the contestants sang their own original songs, a duet and two other songs during the episode.
Bishop also song Mötley Crüe’s “Live Wire” and Billie Eilish’s “Wish You Were Gay.”
The judges were impressed with her performances.
“That was crushed,” said judge Luke Bryan. “I mean you just crushed every aspect of that whole thing.”
But it wasn’t enough to make it to the finals.
Grace Kinstler, Willie Spence and Chayce Beckham are this season’s finalists, which will air Sunday, May 23.
