The Steelers made multiple roster moves on Friday, including releasing punter Dustin Colquitt. Colquitt was signed to the active roster at the start of the 2020 season after spending 15 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.

"I acknowledge that our punting is not up to snuff and that we have to get better in that area and we are willing to do whatever is required in an effort to do so," said Coach Mike Tomlin during his weekly press conference on Tuesday when asked about the punt game.

The teams also placed linebacker Devin Bush on the reserve/injured list after he suffered a season-ending knee injury against the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field.

Bush, the Steelers No. 1 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, has quickly become a staple for the defense. Through five games he had 16 tackles and one sack. Bush led the Steelers and all NFL rookies in tackles (109) and solo tackles (72) in 2019, while becoming the only Steelers rookie ever to eclipse 100 tackles.

In addition, the team activated defensive end Henry Mondeaux from the practice squad. Mondeaux has been on the practice squad since the start of the 2020 season. He signed a reserve/future contract at the end of the 2019 season after spending the 2019 on the practice squad. Mondeaux, who played at the University of Oregon, originally signed with the New Orleans Saints following the 2018 NFL Draft. He was with the Saints during training camp and was signed to the Saints practice squad before the last game of the 2018 season. While at Oregon, Mondeaux won the school's Tough Man Award, presented to a player for his 'Will to Win.' His senior year he started 13 games, finishing with 45 tackles, six for a loss, and five sacks.

The team also signed linebacker Ray Wilborn to the practice squad. Wilborn was signed by the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft. He played college football at Ball State where he led the team in tackles (83) in 2018 and tackles for a loss (10.5) while playing outside linebacker. He moved to safety in 2019 and finished the season third in tackles (83) and fourth in passes defensed (6).
