BINGHAMTON (WBNG) -- For the month of October, Equinox Broadcasting and GHS Federal Credit Union have partnered up to support Breast Cancer Awareness month by 'shredding the love."
The 'Shred the Love' event gave people a chance to shred documents and materials all while supporting a good cause.
While today was the last day of the month, lines to shred materials were still down the block.
Organizers say shredding was free but encouraged people to donate in order to support efforts to raise money for breast cancer research.
Organizers add that people have been very generous with donations, which they say they are grateful for.
