SAN ANTONIO - A man was fatally shot by his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend on San Antonio's Southwest Side.
The incident happened around 7:50 a.m., Saturday, in the 9100 block of Excellence Drive.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, a woman called saying her ex-boyfriend shot her current boyfriend and fled the scene in a Blue Dodge Ram.
Police located the suspect's vehicle near a local market at Old Pearsall Rd and Old Sky Harbor, officials say.
Officers say they found the 43-year-old suspect running into a brushy area before arresting him.
The 35-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to investigators.
