When Paz Pardo began an affair with a married man in Argentina, she thought she knew exactly how their love story would end: They would break up as soon as she boarded her plane back to America; he would be her “bad-idea fling” and she would be his “Band-Aid” for an ailing marriage.
But their story turned out to be much more complicated than Ms. Pardo could have imagined.
