Following the Green Bay Packers’ 31-26 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC championship game on Sunday, former Utah State Aggies star quarterback Jordan Love, a rookie for the Packers this season who didn’t play a single snap after being a first-round pick, was trending on Twitter.
There were a number of reasons a lot of people were talking about Love. Most notably, many Packer fans are salty — as they were when he was drafted — that Green Bay picked him instead of a player who could have been more impactful this season. Others wondered if Rodgers’ tenure with the Packers could be over.
Here’s a sampling of the discussion about the former Aggie.
Still salty
If St. Brown catches that 2pt conversion...
Green Bay is tied right now.But hey Green Bay took Jordan Love instead of a reliable WR in the 1st round.

Packers really took Jordan Love round 1....

Packers fans better hope Jordan Love turns into a superstar because they missed out on a chance to draft one more elite prospect that could’ve helped them win this game.
I never understood Packer’s management reluctance to add more receiving threats

Packers had a golden chance to draft a couple of playmakers at WR like Tee Higgins or Justin Jefferson.
Instead, Gutey trades up in the first round & drafts... Jordan Love. https://t.co/Zr6MewCdZX

I am heartbroken over the loss in #GreenBay. Can’t help but feel we’re where we are because leadership didn’t trust #AaronRodgers and support him. Dropped passes from 3rd string WRs when we could’ve had top talent this year instead of Jordan Love and AJ Dillon.

Will Rodgers be back next year?
All of the people who defended and praised the Jordan Love pick now pushing the narrative that Aaron Rodgers may have played his last game in Green Bay.

I think Green Bay should rebuild with Jordan love next season. I love Rodgers but he can’t be our QB forever and I don’t see a super bowl win in the next couple years. You’d make the most out of loves rookie deal and you’d obviously get a very good return for Rodgers.

Good riddance. Bring on Jordan Love. 12 can’t win the big one.

If Rodgers does leaves Green Bay, Jordan Love had better be an upgraded version of Patrick Mahomes, considering we've blown this season after taking him
