ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos on Saturday made a series of transactions to trim their roster to the mandated 53-man limit, the team announced.

The Broncos waived T Quinn Bailey, RB LeVante Bellamy, WR Trinity Benson, WR Fred Brown, OLB Malik Carney, S Douglas Coleman III, RB Jeremy Cox, WR Kendall Hinton, S Alijah Holder, LB Justin Hollins, OL Tyler Jones, S P.J. Locke, C Pat Morris, T Darrin Paulo, T Jake Rodgers, QB Brett Rypien, OLB Derrek Tuszka, ILB Josh Watson, T Hunter Watts, WR Cody White, DL DeShawn Williams and WR Juwann Winfree.

Denver also released cornerback De'Vante Bausby and waived/injured tight end Troy Fumagalli, who underwent a procedure last week. Bausby competed for the team's No. 3 cornerback role for most of camp, while Fumagalli appeared to be in the mix to earn a spot at tight end.

The Broncos placed tight end Austin Fort on injured reserve, which ends his 2020 season but will allow him to remain with the organization. Fort underwent a procedure on his knee early in training camp after suffering an injury during the team's workouts.

The Broncos previously this week traded cornerback Isaac Yiadom to the Giants and released linebacker Todd Davis. Those two transactions — combined with the 25 transactions listed above — moved Denver to the 53-man limit.

With its initial 53-man roster set, Denver can now choose to submit claims for players across the league that have been waived. The Broncos will also likely begin to assemble their 16-player practice squad on Sunday.
