In response to current events all residents of Greater Reading are invited to come together for a candlelight vigil in a show of love tonight, Friday, June 5th, in City Park, Reading PA. Members of the community are invited to join in this peaceful vigil in person or watch and share virtually through the Centro Hispano Facebook Page and the BCTV Facebook Page.  All are invited to participate and hear from our faith based leaders providing healing words and prayers for our city, county, and country.

“I would love the citizens of Reading to be the first community in our country to show the true meaning of life, liberty and love. We cannot go any further unless we show love, give love, accept love, and receive love from one another. The time that we are in, we need to pray more and love more,” stated vigil organizer Mr. Ryan Cooper. “We need to be an infectious act that will spread out throughout the country. Let’s challenge other cities to stand together in a Unity of Love moving forward.”

Join us as the City of Reading shines its light to the country and around the world as we stand in unity for justice for our African American neighbors and all marginalized members of our community who are suffering in our efforts to stand in unity and justice for all.
